John 11:8-10

⁸His disciples said to him, “Rabbi, just a short time ago the Jews were trying to stone you. Why do you want to go back there?” ⁹Jesus answered,

“Are there not twelve hours of daylight?
If someone walks in the daylight,
he does not stumble,
because he sees by the light of this world.
¹⁰But if he walks at night,
he stumbles,
because he does not have the light.”
